It doesn't look like the photo, there is a third inner ring and unlike this photo only the inner ring moves. The top and bottom are rigid. It is also difficult to move the inner ring. I couldn't do it hubby figured it out. There are no instructions. There is no way this is a toy for "3+ ages" because even though I now know how it works I am struggling to rotate the inner ring. I am waiting for the kids to get home from school to see if they can even physically turn it before deciding whether to return it. It isn't a fidget because it doesn't glide, you can't "fiddle" with it you have to be incredibly precise to use it. It is, I guess, a puzzle as long as my children can actually physically use it, which I won't know until later this afternoon.
